Games and Their Online Applications

Games are good ways of killing time during the leisure hours. With its key components like goals, challenge, regulations and dealings, games can be mentally stimulating, and can develop practical skills. However, with the development of technology, people across the world are increasingly using games online. Most of these games available on the internet do not require paying fees for subscription. These free online games have become popular among users of all age.

There are various categories of which include Lawn games or sports which can be played outdoors and the tabletop. Other categories include Dexterity or coordination, board or Parcheesi, card, dice, domino and tile-based game-variations, pencil and paper and guessing games. With the introduction of computer and internet, there has been an increasing popularity of video and online games which make use of the keyboard, controller, mouse and/or trackball.

There are various types of online games available. These can be first-person shooter games or real-time strategy games. Some famous games available online are World of Warcraft, Final Fantasy XI, Lineage II, Guild Wars, Age of Empires, Microsoft Ants, Phantasy Star Online, Frogger and Pac-Man.

Among the online variety of these, the free online games are more popular among it users. One reason behind it is that it requires no paid subscription and therefore, it does not exhaust the accounts. The websites that feature free games are not tough to find in the internet.

Some of the popular games include the Attack of the Mutant Artificial Christmas Trees, BlogShares, Cabal Online, Urban Terror or UrT and Drift City. The Emil Chronicle Online or ECO is an online role-playing game which was founded by Headlock and published by GungHo. It was released in Japan on November 24, 2005. Later on December 18, 2006, the game was released in Southeast Asia and Oceania. Other versions were released in China, Malaysia and Singapore.

Endless Ages is an online first person shooting genre which was released for Beta in the Spring of 2001. Later on July 1, 2003, the game's full commercial release was held. The game was initially created and owned by Aaron Boucher and Avaria Corporation. Due to its popularity, the game has its sequel named Phylon. It was then re-released as Endless Ages Reborn. Other free online games like Heat Project, (Lil) Green Patch, Human Age, Kutar, Pet Society, Phantasy Star Online (PSO), Little Fighter Online and QQ Sanguo also had immense popularity among users throughout the entire world.
