American Mahjong

American Mahjong is a game, the 30s and was born in 1920, shortly after the Chinese version of the front was introduced to U.S. From that point, the American players Mahjong fascinated thousands of people. People of all ethnic groups play Mahjong house, mahjong parlors, and even during the championships. But as American Mahjong popularity began to grow, the Chinese version has begun to ask players if the game truly deserves the title "Mahjong."

Well, theoverall gameplay is more or less the same as traditional Mahjong. In essence, through luck and skill to compete against four players for the most points by the Gaming Board Mahjong dominant. To this end, they build sets, discarding and selecting new cards.

American Mahjong is distinguished by the addition of a new technique known "Charleston" than that. The Charleston is started, even before the game, too. Basically, it allows players to exchange unwanted tiles. So ifCharleston is used properly it could advantageously players with a choice, if they know what they have to get rid of tiles, or if they know how to work with the magic side.
The tiles are also different with American Mahjong. Why? Well, the layout is slightly changed a bit 'as American Mahjong tile adds the Joker. This allows you to play in replacement of another stone.

In relation to the project itself, ironically, theAmerican version uses the same graphics of oriental inspiration for the Chinese version. This does not mean that it is mahjong games, turn away from these observations, even if this traffic is largely different. Consider the computer game "Mahjong Master: Egyptian Edition." It uses Egyptian symbols for the Mahjong tiles, although it is not intended to replace Mahjong "official" Chinese American or graphics on Mahjong.

So in the end, when you comparethe different games, the differences are important enough to consider American Mahjong a separate game. So, why is there still a controversy? Well, it's all a matter of personal opinion. Some people believe that if you want to play a game, must be complete as the original. Then there are others who by their own similar spin. Sometimes these "revolutions" stay to play their style, unique and personal, while at other times is so popular that begins withall others. This is what happened, American Mahjong.

Finally, no matter what version you play, you enjoy a great game that will broaden your joke, but it calms the mind.
